Linear Ice Scraper

Linear is a ice scraper with a hand-guard for ice protection. It is a study in ergonomics and functionality.
Its dominant stance with character makes it fun and easy to use.
No one likes scraping their windshield.
It's cold, icy, and antagonizing.
So how could I improve their experience?
My solution is Linear. Appearing as a single bent sheet of polyethylene, Linear has an extremely ergonomic pinch grip, comfortable foam padding, and an ice shield, helping users who may have forgotten their mittens inside.
Ideation & Prototyping
This was a practice piece made to learn the various tools while working plastic, and the form was discovered to be insanely ergonomic using a pinch grip.
After ideation, goals of simplicity and character/stance established going into prototyping.
Sketch models were made using foam-core to further develop grips and mechanisms.
